Sanctuary partners
It is a great honor for us at WOA to help support the sanctuaries and their effort to rescue these homeless dogs from the dog meat trade. Despite the tremendous personal sacrifice and financial expense, they do more than just house these animals. Unlike a kennel, this is a labor of love, not a business. These dogs are loved and treated with the dignity and love they deserve.

These dedicated sanctuary partners have demonstrated the commitment to save these animals at any cost. They understand the best practices and the unique challenges better than anyone. Their expertise ensures that your contributions are maximized and it is a testament to their devotion that no donations go to waste.
How do you choose partners?
We spend time with all of our partners in the field. We inspect the facilities, interview the caregivers and assess their areas of need. All of our partners have dedicated themselves to this humane cause for over a decade and have demonstrated the ability and determination to make a difference at any cost. These visits allow us to better allocate your contribution to their most pressing needs and ultimately, provide the dogs with the best level of care.
What is your relationship with partners?
We stay in daily communication with all of our sanctuary partners. This allows us to be proactive and adjust to any new challenges or needs as they arise. During our visits to the field, we can also set goals and see firsthand the most efficient way of implementing assistance.
What does WOA Foundation expect from partners?
We expect a continued delivery of hygienic and safe care to all of their beloved rescues. A commitment to the high level of concern, responsibility, and love required to maintain such a difficult operation. Our dedicated partners have proven their determination long before we had the privilege of joining their campaign, and we know they wouldn’t be satisfied with anything less.
