Seven years ago, while visiting Beijing, Erniu saved two dogs, Wancai and Simba, from being abused and killed by cruel people. Because the two dogs were too sick to travel, he decided to stay in Beijing to care for them where he became devoted to saving more dogs. Very soon it took over all his life.
SANCTUARIES NEEDS
It’s a bold move! With our backing, Blooming Field Sanctuary rented an abandoned two-acre pig farm so they can take in more dogs off the streets. The new place will have enough room for 500 dogs! They plan to renovate in phases. Phase one is to get 15 kennels renovated so that the current 75 dogs can move in from a private home.
