Hello, I’m Sunny and this is my story.
Crystal Spring Sanctuary, Hubei China
A friend of Rong’s contacted her when he saw me on the street, very injured - my back legs had been run over by a car. But when Rong arrived, she couldn’t find me.
I was so scared I was hiding in an old warehouse. Fortunately, a kind, old lady saw me and gave me food for two months while I hid and recovered. When I had healed a little, I came out of the warehouse and Rong finally found me
Mama Rong never gave up.
She was very worried when she saw me, because my injured legs were ulcerated and my hip bones were exposed. Rong rushed me to the hospital for immediate treatment but I needed long-term care to heal.
Now I’m living at the Sanctuary and with the help of a wheelchair, I can run with other dogs and play outside. Since I need to use a wheelchair, I will probably never be adopted.
So, I will be here at the Sanctuary, safe and well cared for, for the rest of my life.
